Dirty Cult is a digital media company that explores, celebrates, and highlights intersectionality in art, entertainment, and pop culture.
We provide a creative platform for artists and content creators to network, collaborate, discuss, and share.
The name was inspired by NSYNC’s smash hit single “Dirty Pop” and our initial focus on covering all things pop culture. For copyright reasons, however, Dirty Pop became Dirty Pop Culture, then Dirty Culture, and eventually just Dirty Cult. It is possible we may or may not have been inspired by illuminati conspiracy theories at the forefront of 2012’s zeitgeist. We are not not saying that. Our mission and focus has evolved over time, so while we’re here to support and elevate the voices of underrepresented folk, we’ll also take a moment to analyze and poke fun at the state of the culture that created us.
We are currently accepting submissions and looking for contributors. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for consideration.
