I was really, really excited when this came out, too. It’s been, like, seven years since Fiona Apple released any new music! I absolutely loved the way she constructed this album, though. It felt, like, very cohesive. Like it’s meant to be played non-stop from beginning to end and no other way. It’s almost like you’re listening to the soundtrack to one of the trippiest musicals ever. She’s so weird and awesome. I feel so bad that she got arrested in Texas for carrying hash, but I hope she can forgive the state and come back to play the show she had to cancel!
